Not So Happy 50th Post

Woohoo! I've hit my 50th post. It hasn't been a good spring break so far. I baked a cake and it failed terribly. I'm progressing slowly on homework. I tried drawing and it looks like I've forgotten how to draw for fun. Daylight savings time is still screwing with me and I can't sleep properly. Health-wise, I don't feel up to par. That overdose on hot sauce has resulted in mouth sores. My mother had dragged me along for grocery shopping and it ended up being a three hour long trip.

This spring break has its fair share of random news.
  1. Yoshiki has set a piano on fire. Without any context, it sounds absurd (maybe that's what we should expect from rockers). It was for a music video according to a one line caption and not much was explained. There were some negative comments regarding the waste of a perfectly fine instrument and I can only hope that perhaps that piano was not a piano at all.
  2. Kyo's side project Sukekiyo will be performing soon and I will not be attending. I have school to deal with and a job to find.
  3. Malaysia Flight 370 is still missing. It's been missing for quite a while since March 8. I pray that the passengers are alive and that this plane be found soon.
  4. I made a tumblr and it is of no relevance to the world because I haven't done anything special so far.
To be fair, there were some good things that happened like cooking again what I like and being able to catch up on an old jdrama. I was able to eat some curry just as I promised myself and heaps of homemade hot sauce over my noodles made me very happy. Even though I can't take on the heat, I still like to eat spicy. I finished watching Unubore Deka and I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It is really more of a comedy and viewers should view it as a comedy rather than crime fiction. Crime fiction is kind of there like decoration. The story and motives for murder are very absurd and highly unrealistic, but that's what makes it funny. Unubore's dance is kind of hilarious to watch and the final episode was a good one. It ended on a positive message; even though all the perpetrators had to go to jail for their crimes, they were filled with remorse and Unubore changed their views giving them a second chance in life. It's a reminder of how we should view those that have been in jail. Everyone deserves a second chance.

I did draw something good and not screw up on it too much. I finished up on a Vanitas drawing that I started in early January and it came out pretty well. Vanitas Drawing
I still need to work on a personal logo. That'll be for the future.

  1. Congrats on the 50th post! I really should post more on my own blog. But I need time and topics to incite my mind.

    1. Just write whatever you want and make that into a habit. 50 posts within three months is not that hard if you make the effort to write about anything that comes to mind.
